Thoughtful clinicians deserve thoughtful support.
Dallas Therapy Associates is a collaborative group practice built around the belief that meaningful clinical work happens when clinicians feel supported, respected, and empowered to practice authentically.
We value clinical autonomy, relationally grounded care, ongoing professional growth, and the importance of creating sustainable careers in mental health.
Our clinicians bring diverse specialties, therapeutic approaches, and perspectives while sharing a commitment to thoughtful, compassionate, high-quality care. We offer opportunities for therapists and assessment providers seeking a supportive, collaborative, and professionally grounded practice environment.
Exceptional client care begins with supporting the clinicians who provide it.
We have intentionally built a practice that combines professional autonomy with meaningful clinical support. Clinicians maintain control over their schedules, availability, areas of specialization, and treatment approaches while benefiting from a collaborative network of experienced colleagues.
Whether you're newly licensed or an experienced clinician, you'll have access to consultation, peer support, coordinated referrals, administrative assistance, and a team that values both professional growth and authentic connection.
We believe that asking questions, seeking consultation, and learning from one another are signs of strong clinical practice — not weakness.
Independence without isolation. Collaboration without micromanagement.
Many practices operate from a sink-or-swim mindset. We don't. Our goal is to create an environment where clinicians can develop thriving careers while delivering high-quality care to the clients they serve.

Not a solo practice. Not a corporate one.
DTA's strongest recruiting message isn't compensation, office space, or benefits — it's that we sit in the middle of two extremes. Not a solo practice where clinicians feel isolated. Not a large corporate practice where clinicians feel like a number.

Relationships matter
We value professionalism, authenticity, and genuine connection with both clients and colleagues.
We hire talented clinicians and trust them to do what they do best. Rather than micromanaging clinical work, we focus on building the systems, resources, and support clinicians need to thrive.
Built around independent clinicians, by design.
Every clinician at DTA — including practice leadership — works as an independent 1099 contractor. That structure is intentional and reflects our values: autonomy over how you practice, ownership of your caseload and schedule, and a partnership built on trust rather than employment hierarchy.
The contractor model lets us pair the freedom of private practice with the infrastructure, referrals, and collegial support of a group. You set your availability, choose your specialties, and shape the practice you want to build — while DTA handles the systems behind the scenes.
We're happy to walk through the contractor agreement and what working with DTA looks like in detail during the interview process.
