Her clinical focus areas include trauma and complex PTSD, dissociation, relational patterns, self-worth, and anxiety. Allison draws from a range of modalities — including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic therapy, Trauma Model Therapy, and expressive arts — to build a treatment plan tailored to each client.
Because Allison practices under clinical supervision, sessions are billed under the Dallas Therapy Associates group insurance contract rather than Allison's individual panel. Verify coverage with intake before your first appointment.

Allison Cornelius (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who works with individuals, couples, and families navigating complex trauma, grief and loss, and difficulties in close relationships. She is known for a warm, collaborative approach, meeting clients where they are and trusting that the resources for healing already live within them.
