What it's like to sit with Brianne

Brianne is a humanist which means that she believes that humans are innately good, deserving of empathy, and possess the power to heal and grow. Her counseling approach focuses on helping clients to identify their emotions and feel their feelings without shame. She aspires to help clients to embrace vulnerability and authenticity in an emotionally supportive environment so they can create the meaning, connection, and joy they desire in their lives.

Brianne’s theoretical approach is rooted in liberatory justice frameworks and incorporates techniques from emotionally focused therapy and existential therapy, among others. Brianne believes that one of the most important factors in therapy is the therapeutic relationship, so her focus is on building a strong relationship with her clients and utilizing techniques based on individual client needs.

In her leisure time, Brianne enjoys building her community of friends, spending time with family, organizing, watching movies, and trying local restaurants.
