What it's like to sit with William

Who William works best with: he has had great success with clients who struggle with ADHD — helping them formulate organizational and attention strategies tailored to the way the ADHD mind actually functions — and with clients navigating anxiety, past abuse, PTSD, and the codependency and enmeshment that can show up in close relationships. His clinical focuses include ADHD, trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family-of-origin issues, identity and belonging, and relationship issues such as enmeshment, attachment, complex trauma, codependency, and abuse.

What it’s like to work with William: he doesn’t shy away from addressing deep existential concerns, because everyone deserves to lead a life that feels meaningful and true to their best self. He values respect and autonomy and will not judge you for who you are or the choices you’ve made. His approach draws on CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, existential therapy, and somatic work — matched to the specific needs and comfort of each client.

Three words that describe his therapy style: direct, compassionate, insightful.
