Life can be painful, uncertain, and full of questions that don't have easy answers. Lex believes therapy offers a place to slow down, become more curious about yourself, and reconnect with the wisdom you already carry. They see therapy as a collaborative partnership—you are the expert on your own life, and together you'll work toward greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and the freedom to live in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.
Clients often describe Lex as curious, collaborative, and insightful. They are passionate about creating an emotionally safe, affirming environment where every part of your experience is welcome—including the parts that may have felt misunderstood, hidden, or marginalized. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, identity development, body image concerns, neurodivergence, or major life transitions, Lex works alongside you with warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity.
Lex especially enjoys working with adolescents and adults who want to better understand their inner world and develop language for experiences that may have felt difficult to explain. They have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQ+ clients, those recovering from religious trauma, and people exploring questions of identity, spirituality, meaning, and belonging. They believe that healing often begins when we can approach ourselves with curiosity instead of judgment.
When working with children, Lex practices Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), an evidence-based approach that recognizes play as a child's natural language. Through a safe, accepting therapeutic relationship, children are able to express emotions, process difficult experiences, build confidence, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthy problem-solving skills—all at their own pace and in ways that feel natural to them.
Education, licensure, and clinical training that inform Lex's work.
