Dr. Campana works from a psychodynamic and developmental perspective to assist her clients in gaining insight into how past experiences impact their current life. She believes that once insight is achieved, motivation to change facilitates progress and increases well-being. Dr. Campana also integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques into her treatments and works collaboratively with her clients throughout their care. Empowering her clients to be active participants in their care is crucial for enabling them to gain control of their lives and make the necessary changes to increase happiness.

Shyann Campana, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist that focuses on individual and couples psychotherapy for adults. Dr. Campana received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program with The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Irvine, California. Her pre-doctoral clinical internship took place at an APA accredited program in San Bernardino, California where she completed 2 clinical rotations working with diverse populations, treating underserved groups in clinical and forensic settings. She has trained in a multitude of settings including community college, private practice, outpatient forensic clinics, as well as outpatient community mental health clinics. Dr. Campana has utilized a variety of treatment modalities to help meet her clients’ needs, including individual, group, couples, family, and play therapy. Her areas of clinical interests include anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship dynamics, communication enhancement, transitional issues, identity disruptions, and mood disorders.
