His clinical focus areas include trauma and complex PTSD, childhood trauma, recovery from abuse and intimate partner violence, ADHD and neurodivergence, addiction recovery, life transitions, and play and activity therapy with younger clients. He draws on evidence-based modalities including CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, tailored to each client's age, history, and goals.
Because Mushfique practices under clinical supervision, sessions are billed under the Dallas Therapy Associates group insurance contract rather than Mushfique's individual panel. Verify coverage with intake before your first appointment.

Mushfique Chowdhury is an LPC-Associate who works with children, teens, and adults from a client-centered, trauma-informed perspective. He believes meaningful change starts with a trusting therapeutic relationship, and he is intentional about creating a warm, non-judgmental space where clients can examine difficult experiences without feeling rushed or evaluated. Mushfique is both neurodiversity-affirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
